Spring is here, and I can definitely feel it in the music that I feel drawn to right now. These songs are perfect for listening to outside while enjoying that sweet sweet sun. Change in Weather on Butcher Browns latest album hits the nail on the head. FYI, they're playing at Nectar Lounge on 4/19. Both I Wont Tell You and Un Deux Trois by Munya just make me want to get up and dance every time I come on. Not really sure what's in the water in Quebec but I love what I does to their music scene. After another long spring day, you can just unwind with Bethlehem by Men I Trust and the rest of their latest album that will guide you into the sweetest of dreams. 

I was fortunate to see Maribou State earlier this month at Showbox SODO. Their music feels like they were trying to capture a very specific emotion in a song. Tongue was a recent find after the show that I can't stop playing. Fly away by Ley Soul and Make Me Whole by Yukimi are two other standouts that I think independently speak the same language.
