Having grown up on three different continents, I was exposed to a diverse range of music that deeply influence what I listen to today. What fascinates me is how certain sounds, beats, and rhythms can come to symbolize their place of origin, a way of life or a particular feeling. To me, this reflects the nature of music itself—an iterative process where the past always lives on in the present. We’re all building on each other’s work, and no piece of art emerges out of thin air.

This playlist embodies that diverse range of influences. It blends the jazzy, Latin-inspired rhythms of Montserrat by Orquesta Del Plata and Gypsy Blues by Zeb, alongside global sounds from Africa, South America, and Europe, like Amerimacka by Thievery Corporation and Omorfo Mou by Σtella. Alongside that, songs like Rabbit by Youth Lagoon stand apart—pure emotion without a clear connection to any one place, showing how music can transcend geography and become something deeply personal and universal.
